Arrived in Frankfurt, Germany

We, Alice, Paulette, Linda, Gloria, Doug, Cheryl and I, arrived in Frankfurt in the early morning on June 15th to begin our wonderful tour of Germany, Switzerland & Austria.  We were met at the airport by Paula, our tour director, and then were joined by more travellers from various parts of the US.  We took a quick trip through Old Frankfurt, as we had to wait on some of our travellers to arrive.

The Love Bridge so name because of the locks locked onto the iron railings.  These locks are locked onto the rails by two people in love and the key thrown into the river to mean a love to last forever.  There were many love affairs, according to the amount of locks, in Frankfurt.

Once we gathered everyone from the airport we headed to Schwetzingen where we were spending our next 2 nights.  We were very tired on our arrival from our long flight but we headed down to the square to look around.  Very beautiful little city, loved looking around and sitting in the cafe having a coffee.  After our welcome dinner, it was an early night to try to get a good rest to begin our touring of Germany.
