Leaving Panama City, heading for Corondao

Yesterday, Monday morning, Pauledo was waiting for us by 9:30 in the lobby of our hotel.  We quickly loaded our suitcases into his little yellow taxi and we were off to the airport or so we thought.  He first wanted to show us how we would get onto the Pan American bridge and highway so that we wouldn't get lost.  What a kind and thoughtful man helping us find our way to Coronado and giving us his cell # if we ran into difficulties.
We picked up our new wheels and started our way through the heavy traffic following Pauledo's instructions.  It seemed like a long time getting through the city but we did get to the Pan American Bridge and highway.  From there we could breath a shy of relief...we were out of the city and heading into the country.  We watched for signs and arrived in Coronado mid afternoon.
Coronado looks like an Americanized beach town.  We followed the instructions we had to get to our rental place...finding it very easily.  Unloaded our belongings, headed back into town for supplies, returned to unpack and settle in for the month.  I think it will be a great month.

Our new wheels for our time in Panama.  Fred did very well getting us through Panama City and here to Coronado.  Hoping to make some day trips from here to some interesting places around here.

This is home for us for the next month.  Beautiful place.

Fred seemed to have claimed the hammock.  Sure hope I get to use it at least a couple of times during the month.

See what I mean...
