Panama Here We Come

Panama is an Indian word meaning "an abundance of fish".
Panama's population is about 3 million people of diverse origins.
The country offers majestic rain forests, hills and valleys formed by volcanoes, mountainous peaks, beautiful beaches on the Pacific and amazing islands in the Carribean.
Panama is between  50 - 120 miles wide and has 477 miles of Carribean coast and 767 miles on the Pacific Ocean.
Panama City's population is around 700,000 people.
Panama City is known as the "Crossroads of the World".
Panama City also lays claim to the Panama Canal. Construction began in 1880 but after 20 years of struggle with disease, jungle, financial problems and just the enormity of the project, it was forced to give up.  In 1904 the  US purchased the French Canal Company and began to dig completing the canal in 1914 with  Ancon, the US cargo ship making the visit trip through the canal.
Panama City is also known as "Little Miami" because of it's skyline for the new business district.

Looking forward to checking out all that Panama has to offer.
