Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

We arrived on Wednesday, January 29 in Punta Cana, along with Terri & Rob, and the bride & groom, Daelyn & Shaun.  The guests began arriving in the next few days and the fun just kept getting better.  Fred & I met a lot of wonderful people and know Shaun will be part of a great family.  Everyone seemed to be enjoying the sun, sand& surf.  Even our 2 youngest ones, Cash & Madeline, took to the waves and pool, and enjoyed laying under an umbrella with very little on.

February 3, the wedding day.  I couldn't believe just how nervous Shaun was.  Daelyn was busy getting ready along with the bridesmaids, Morgan, Jordan & Sacha.  At 3:00 the ceremony began, the bride looking gorgeous holding on to her dad's arm, as she walked toward the handsome groom.  The minister had a short but well said message and then Shaun & Daelyn said their own vows and exchanged rings in front of the 70 guests attending their wedding.  After the ceremony champagne and hor d'oeuvres were served on the beach.  Pictures followed and the guests visited.  Dinner was a buffet supper at the Beach Pavillion with seating on the patio.  A beautiful evening of dancing followed.  What a wonderful wedding.  Can't wait to see the pictures and video.

The rest of the week was filled with more beach time and many laughs and before we knew it we were saying our goodbyes to family and new friends made.
