First Day in Israel...Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv is barely a century old and is a bustling city open for business 24/7, and is the country's economic hub.  The seafront Tel Aviv Promenade stretches from Yarkon River in the north to Jaffa in the south, it is a delightful place to stroll.
Tel Aviv is known as the White City and in 2003 it was pronounced a Unesco Heritage City for its beautiful and abundant Bauhaus architecture, an Art Deco - like style built in the 30's and 40's.  The Bauhaus architecture style buildings was brought to Tel Aviv by the German Jewish people immigrating to this area, to escape the ruling of Hitler in Germany. The largest concentration of this architectural style buildings is on Rothschild Boulivard.
