Wednesday, we had a leisurely day walking around Amman, stopping and checking out the shops. We lucked out finding a great little, hidden restaurant and had our last kebab. We continued on testing out different sweets we hadn't tried yet. We also had a sugarcane drink but it wasn't as good as the ones we had in Stonetown last year. Maybe Don & Krista it was how they were prepared it with their clean hands, not sure what the difference would be. It is maybe a good thing we are leaving the Middle East as the breads and sweets here have been something else. The people have been so wonderful helping us find our way or letting us taste foods from their vendor (usually sweets or nuts). The Jordanian people are very kind people.
Tomorrow we will be leaving Amman. Betty will fly to Kuwait to meet up with Sacha and then they will fly home. Fred and I will continue on to Bangkok for more amazing things to see. We are hoping to meet up with Holly and Jan at some point in time and Howard (school friend) is meeting us Friday evening the day we land for supper. Can't wait for our next adventure to see where it takes us, what we will experience and who we will meet along the way. Till Bangkok...
