Nymphenburg Palace

Nymphenburg Palace is a baroque palace and was the summer residence for the Bavarian monarchs. This is one of the largest royal palaces in Europe.  The lavishly decorated interior, under Ludwig I's order, features the bedroom of King Ludwig, an impressive banquet hall with beautiful ceiling frescoes. There is also a large 299 hectare, landscaped garden with interesting statues, hidden sculptures, streams and lakes.
