On Our Way to Munich

After lunch we were on our way to Munich via Germany' Romantic Road, which is a picturesque 350 km route through the forests and mountains of Bavaria.  We didn't travel the entire route but what we did travel, the scenery was beautiful. We stopped at the Wieskirche Church, a world heritage site.

After a short drive we arrived in Munich, Bavaria's capital, and home to centuries-old buildings and numerous museums.  The city is known for its annual Oktoberfest celebration and it's beer halls.  The city is a major centre of art, technologies, finance, culture, innovation, education and business along with tourism in Germany and Europe.
